Say Hello to Mercury in Retrograde!

That’s right! Mercury has just once again gone into Retrograde. Also along with Saturn, Jupiter, and Venus which have been in Retrograde- but no one fears them quite like good ole’ Mercury.

Someone messages me the other day asking for my opinion about Mercury re-entering Retrograde and I honestly shrugged it off.

Mercury in Retrograde is only scary when you LET it be scary. This Retrograde it honestly feared by so many people but let’s be real- it’s not scary and only will be if you’re not tuning into your own thoughts and feeling. If you’re unconscious- that’s when it’s your enemy.

This is one of the best times to challenage your current perspective and to really practice some mindful behaviors and to look into getting insight on other situations and views.

A lot of people’s issues is not really listening to themselves and blindly moving around- it’s time to mediate, mediate, mediate. It’s time to re-enforce good behaviors, and really look at what ones need to exit right on the stage. It’s time to focus on more healthy communication with yourself and others.

Mercury is Retrograde in my opinion is a great time for CHANGE. If you’re struggling it’s due to something needing to change and this is a great time to REFLECT on that.

I was just reading something and it sparked a really good perspective (look it’s already happening!) that this is also a great time to implentment new affirmations, personal mantras, and new habits.

I fully agree that this is one hunderd percent that time.

11 Quotes on the Divine Feminine

“You are a ritual.
Your breath is the air of knowing.
Your body grounding earth.
Your spirit the fire of intention.
Your blood the ebb and flow of deep waters emotion.
You are a ritual.
Never forget you are magic made flesh blood and whole
And sacred spells are written in your soul.”
Ara
“It is often said that the first sound we hear in the womb is our mother’s heartbeat. Actually, the first sound to vibrate our newly developed hearing apparatus is the pulse of our mother’s blood through her veins and arteries. We vibrate to that primordial rhythm even before we have ears to hear. Before we were conceived, we existed in part as an egg in our mother’s ovary. All the eggs a woman will ever carry form in her ovaries while she is a four-month-old fetus in the womb of her mother.

This means our cellular life as an egg begins in the womb of our grandmother. Each of us spent five months in our grandmother’s womb and she in turn formed within the womb of her grandmother. We vibrate to the rhythms of our mother’s blood before she herself is born. And this pulse is the thread of blood that runs all the way back through the grandmothers to the first mother. We all share the blood of the first mother – we are truly children of one blood.”
– Layne Redmond
“The Goddess awakens in infinite forms and a thousand disguises. She is found where She is least expected, appears out of nowhere and everywhere to illuminate the open heart. She is singing, crying, moaning, wailing, shrieking, crooning to us: to be awake, to commit ourselves to life, to be a lover in the world and of the world, to join our voices in the single song of constant change and creation. For Her law is love unto all beings, and She is the cup of the drink of life.”
The Spiral Dance: A Rebirth of the Ancient Religion of the Great Goddess, by Starhawk
“A seasoned woman is spicy. She has been marinated in life experiences. Like a complex wine, she can be alternately sweet, tart, sparkling, mellow. She is both maternal and playful. Assured, alluring, and resourceful. She is less likely to have an agenda than a young woman ~ no biological clock tick-tocking beside her lover’s bed, no campaign to lead him to the altar, no rescue fantasies. The seasoned woman knows who she is. She could be any one of us, as long a she is committed to living fully and passionately in the second half of her life, despite failures and false starts.”
Gail Sheehy
“She is the oracle of intuition within his soul, guiding him through the unknown.”
Roy Gillett
“I stand in my own power now, the questions of permission that I used to choke on for my every meal now dead in a fallen heap, and when they tell me that I will fall, I nod. I will fall, I reply, and
my words are a whisper

my words are a howl
I will fall , I say, and the tumbling will be all my own. The skinned palms and oozing knees are holy wounds, stigmata of my She.
I will catch my own spilled blood, and not a drop will be wasted.”
Beth Morey, Night Cycles: Poetry for a Dark Night of the Soul
“For some she came in a dream. For others in words as clear as a bell: it is time, I am here. She may come in a whisper so loud she can deafen you or a shout so quiet you strain to hear. She may appear in the waves or the face of the moon, in a red goddess or a crow.”
Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman
“Entering into and opening to our inherent spacious soul daily allows a natural liberation of our manifold self-identifications to occur, and it is then that we can truly rest in the sacredness and come to know our ground of being. The great Celtic writer John O’Donohue points to this when he says that “behind the façade of your life, there is something beautiful and eternal happening.”
Meghan Don, The New Divine Feminine: Spiritual Evolution for a Woman’s Soul
“The deep Feminine, the mystery of consciousness, She who is life, is longing for our transformation as much as we are. She holds back, allowing us free reign to choose, nudging us occasionally with synchronicities, illness, births and deaths… But when we make space for Her, she rushes into all the gaps, engulfing us with her desire for life and expression. This is what She longs for, this is what we are for: experiencing the Feminine through ourselves. We simply need to slow down, and find where to put our conscious attention. And it is this, this willingness to look again, this willingness to put consciousness onto our places of unconscious, to express what we have always avoided, which starts the process of unblocking, so that She may flow through.”
Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman
“Those in the System, would like us to share their belief that all the changes [we are witnessing] are not connected: they are simply anomalies, isolated symptoms to be treated or preferably ignored, before the all-powerful Western capitalist patriarchal model goes on to ever greater heights and grander ejaculations. Most are numb to it, caught in fear, denial or resistance.
But we, Burning Woman, know this process intimately. Amongst Burning Women and Men, there is a fierce, quiet knowing that these are both the death pangs of the old, and the birthing pangs of the new.”
Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman
“The feminine has deep understanding of the power of matter. Women carry the instinctual knowing of the divine substance in matter and of how to bring this substance into life, because this knowledge is fundamental in the process of giving birth, in bringing a soul into human form. Now this wisdom is needed for the regeneration of the earth, for the earth’s awakening.”

Survival Guide for Spiritual Mommas

The last two years I’ve closed myself up, and kept quiet with the majority of my issues and feelings. PPD struck me hard and deep- and for the longest time I sat in my house ready to scream or cry.

Truthfully, I had the deep momma blues. It’s tough being a mother, it’s almost an upheaval of anything or everything we’ve ever known. Privacy? Alone time? Shower? What are those things again?

If you’ve never experienced this as a mother you’re either a liar or an unicorn.

Us moms got to find a way to survive and keep our spirits lifted- it’s a frustrating, never ending cycle of dirty diapers, messy house, pile of laundry, and exhausted morning.

  1. Routines will be your best friends.

Yep. Your best friend is going to be that to do list, and the organization you keep with it. This doesn’t mean everyday will be the same- that will drive you up a wall. It’s also ideal to keep in mind it’s fine to deviant from the routine time to time and not to follow a strict one.

Kids will always find a way to deviant you from this.

But the good thing with routines is you can organize your time to where you have FREE TIME. (What’s that? I haven’t seen that in forever!) You’ll create time to be able to take care of yourself, your needs, and take a breather.

2. Healthy diet

Yeah, we all know after a long day all we want to do is snack on those yummy nuggets your child didn’t finish, or to pop a tasty cake in your mouth. It’s easy and doesn’t use up much energy.

But I’ve found that if I take that energy to make healthy foods I actually have more energy and feel more focused. This includes drinking the recommended amount of water for yourself.

3. Create alone time.

HAH. Alone time! But don’t laugh too much, this is VERY important. Once or twice a month be sure to pick those days out in advance and get yourself out of the house. Tell your partner, or ask a trusted friend to help you get a little freedom. Even if it’s just taking a walk, or sitting at a park. You need to decompress and reflect on your life, desires, hopes, and dreams.

Thought Provoking Quotes On Spirituality

“The laws of the universe exceed far beyond the rules of man. For me that means death, karma, and love; the only 3 things I believe to withstand any test of time and only true indication of a spectrum to it. Mastery of these puts us beyond the range of time itself; attainable only by God standards or some celestial essence not firmly planted onto this plane. May dwell amongst us, may watch from up above, maybe even be lurking underneath us for all we truly know but something more has to govern this seemingly mortal existence!”

“I aspire to be a giver of love, a giver of good love, a giver of good vibes and a giver of strength.”

“I am a kingdom that you can no longer wander in. So let her be the island of your exile.”

A. A.Roses

“To be sure, I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

“How I love those gloomy days, when the earth adorns itself in shrouds of mist. When the veil between the worlds feels thinner and I am in my prime.”

“Why worship a deity whom you cannot see, when there is the Moon in all her splendour visible? Worship her. Invoke Diana, the goddess of the Moon, and she will grant your prayers”

The House of the Wind: Aradia; Gospel of the Witches

“The fact that natural forces can be used before people find scientifically what they are is not a case for dismissing them as imaginary. If it were, we should know nothing now about electricity and the structure of matter.”

Witchcraft from the Inside

“If you go far enough back, all our ancestors were Pagans. They practiced religions that had few creeds or dogmas. There were no prophets. There were myths and legends, but no scriptures to be taken literally. These religions were based on the celebration of the seasonal cycles of nature. They were based on what people did, not what people believed.”

Margot Adler, Drawing Down the Moon

I want to reinstate a respect for soil. We must touch the soil. How many times do we touch our mobile phone every day? Maybe 100 times. How many times do we touch the soil? Hardly ever. We must give dignity to peasants, farmers and gardeners.

We are all part of this healthy web of life maintained by soil. The Latin word humus means soil. The words human, humility and humus all come from the same root. When humans lose contact with soil, they are no longer humans.

Satish Kumar, “The Link Between Soil, Soul and Society”

“Our consciousness sustains the Gods; the older the Egregore, the more powerful it becomes. When a cult disappears, then the Egregore sleeps on the mists of the Astral dimensions, but it can be awakened again when worshippers recall its name and perform its rites…”

Robert Cochrane

“You’re a witch. There’s never been a time when witches were cuddly and embraced by their people, my dear. Every culture has had walkers-between and that frightens people. We’re wild, with fire in our blood, wine in our bellies and the moon in our souls. We’re the frightening people who talk to spirits in the woods.”

Oakthorne

“When eye meets eye in knowing it does not matter if a mask is worn.”

Andrew Chumbley

“Most people carry that pain around inside them their whole lives, until they kill the pain by other means, or until it kills them. But you, my friends, you found another way: a way to use the pain. To burn it as fuel, for light and warmth. You have learned to break the world that has tried to break you.”

The Magicians, Lev Grossman

“Witchcraft offers the model of a religion of poetry, not theology. It presents metaphors, not doctrines, and leaves open the possibility of reconciliation of science and religion, of many ways of knowing.”

Why I Became A Spiritual Coach

Sometimes it feels unreal to me that I live the way I do. It’s odd to mirror the world that lives inside me. Lately I’ve been asked the same question by everyone I speak with and all my clients as to how and why I decided to go from a tarot reader to a spiritual coach.

And at first, it took me a second to really think about this question. Why did I decide to switch gears? Is it because I’m falling out of love with reading? Of course not, I will always love reading tarot and plan on contuining reading professionally. But I discovered that my tarot readings don’t completely fill me up the way they did in the first place.

My drive is to touch and change as many lives as I can, actively changing the narrative and dialogue of the world around us. To teach people to be more loving, understanding, and welcoming, but also teach them how to actively do this in their own lives.

Teaching people not to fear change- but to open up to it and let it in. To help people through their struggles, whether this manifests in a spiritual, mental, sexual, and physical issue. To help people move past blockages and to move past old patterns in their lives.

I want to help raise self awareness and awareness to what’s around us.

Yet, why do I hold this so dear to me? I’ve been through it. But unlike my clients, they don’t have to do it alone. A lot of my issues were due to isolating myself. It is also not having the tools to go out and look for help. It’s not having a real mentor who understood what was going on to me.
Our society is going through a very odd shift- and a lot of people are struggling to shift with it. I see things in society that I do not like, and instead of waiting around for someone else to do it, I want to be apart of what’s good for our society.

I want to help people transform. I want to guide people. I want to spread love and postivitu because I have lived with so much hate and darkness. To resolved hate and anger is my biggest goal for my clients- to be able to productively alter their reality in a good way.
